  • Country ranges from flat basalt ridges, gently undulating slopes through to steeper well sheltered river country and alluvial river flats. Good stands of scattered box throughout.
    Soils are variable from deep basalt, heavy well drained clays, lighter clays, limestone and deep alluvial flats on the Belubula river.

  • 200 hectares winegrapes, 18 varieties, supplying own label and other wineries.
    600 head self replacing Angus beef herd.

Farm Description

Family purchased in 1948, currently run by 2nd and 3rd generation. Originally all sheep. Started cropping in the 60s. Cattle in the 70s. Feedlotting and backgrounding cattle in the 80s and 90s. Planted the vineyard in 1998, developed wine label in 2003
