  • Basalt, Vine Scrub

  • We have recently bought the property which was being run as a hobby/droughtmaster stud. At this stage we are giving the property a rest as we get settled in, but will restock with cattle once the paddocks recover a little. We are interested in grazing, conservation and potentially tree farming where it makes sense. Much learning to be had over the next few years!

Farm Description

Beautiful elevated farm on Basalt Range overlooking the Brisbane Valley. approx 20 ha of good soil and undulating country. Approx 10-20% covered in vine scrub rain-forest with the rest being improved Rhodes grass based pasture. Historically the farm has been dairy country but was a hobby farm/droughtmaster stud for the last 10 years. We have recently bought the property and are slowly developing an idea of how we want to run the place.
